Solution:

The user can use this interface for long distance connection to an LCD panel. Data can be handled over a distance of 5m. The POS-562/562L supports 18-bit LVDS TFT LCD panel via an LVDSinterface (CN26). It consists of a 20-pin dual-in-line header. Power supply (5 V or 3.3 V by jumper) present on CN26. The POS-562 has on-board TI SN75LVDS84 LVDS Transmitter. There are some LCD's which has built-in TI SN75LVDS86 or equivalant receiver can be used for POS-562. For example: LG LP141X2-B 1024x768 14.1" TFT LCD. Installation Procedure: 1. Please check the LCD data sheet and select +5V or +3.3V for LCD VCC. (Jumper JP21) 2. Connect Inverter cables to LCD and Power Supply. 3. Connect LCD LVDS 20 pins cable to CN26. Please be careful about the pin 1 direction. 4. Select the right Panel Type in BIOS CMOS setup. Save the change and Exit. 5. Power on the PC.
