---|---|---|---|
Solution:
Before you install the network driver, you must have both Driver_bank and Windows 95 CD-ROM disks in hand.
It is recommended for you to copy the whole folder "\82559" to your temporary path in HDD. You will not need to switch both these CDs in installation.
1. Double click on "My Computer\Control Panel\Network" icon.
2. Select "Add..." button in "Configuration"
3. Select "Adapter" and press "Add..." to add specific network adapter.
4. "Select Network Adapters" window will show on screen, press "Have Disk..."
button to install network driver from CD-ROM.
5. Type in the correct driver directory into "Install From Disk" window. If you
don't know the correct path, you can click on "Browse..." button to find the
driver. The path is like "E:\Temp\82559", where "E:\Temp" is your temporary folder path. After entering correct path, press "OK" to start driver installation.
6. A supported adapter list is available in "Models" window, select "Intel(R)
PRO/100B PCI Adapter (TX)" and press "OK".
7. Windows 95 will install the driver automatically. In this stage, you may ned
to insert the Windows 95 CD-ROM disc according to the instructions shown on
screen.
8 Whenever you finish the installation, please follow the instruction to
restart your computer and Windows 95 will detectthe network interface by
itself.
