Why are the DDE options of the AI and AO blocks of GeniDAQ grayed out? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
The AO and DO tag are output tags in GeniDAQ, however it is output to the device like PCL-818HD or the ADAM series. So the DDE option in those tags is to import data to the tag from DDE server and output to the hardware. And user can select the DDE source only when the output device channel is chose. Before the device is chosen, the DDE option will always grayed out.
