Solution:
I think maybe your AWS-842TP used the 800 x 600 SVGA TFT LCD. Because in DOS mode, the resolution of the screen will be setting to 640x480, so you will see the phenomenon.
However, if you use the PCA-6654, this card had already modified the VGA BIOS to force the resolution to 800 x 600 while in DOS mode, but the PCA-6643 don't provide such feature.
