The current structure of our example is just what you see now. The software driver stays busy for the measurement and return after this period. It just because in the DMA terminate check loop, we just check if DMA terminate. However, you can put your statement in this check loop to do some other things you want. Besides, the attached file just use the direct I/O method for the DMA transfer. In this example, you can handle the CPU to do some other things you want after the DMA terminate check. This one was an example for PCL-818H, but the DMA transfer method is the same as PCL-818HD.
