How to reload the keypad define into the keyboard translator (for example, AWS-842)?
Solution:
The attached files are used for reload the keypad define into the controller. Please kindly try to do that to overcome this problem. Use a bootable diskette to boot to MS-DOS without load any program into memory. It's recommended to press "F5" key while "Starting MS-DOS 6.22....." appear to bypass "Autoexec.bat" and "Config.sys". Then, type following message to reload the data into the controller. A:\>sfed842 ex842.txt Follow the hint to save the keypad define data into the controller. Please notice that if you don't see the "KBT ID : xxxxxxxxxxx" that means this controller is not a good one.
