Solution:
The RS-232 port of ADAM-4520 only use those 4 pins (pins 2, 3, 5 & 7). Regarding to the isolated feature of ADAM-4520, you don't need to worry about the protective ground. Mainly because the signal "protective ground" just use for protect the frame of the RS-232 device. However, the isolated feature just can meet isolated function to protect the ADAM-4520.
