How to install Compad-32/85 in Windows 95/98?
Solution:
To install Compad-32/85 card in Win95/98 system, user do not need any special driver. Please follow the steps and we believe you can install it successfully. 1, Make sure you have installed the PCMCIA socket in your Control Panel. If you do not find the 'PCMCIA socket' icon, please add it by using 'Add New Hardware'. 2, Insert the Compad-32/85 card. And the system will detect it automatically, and start to install. When the system is asking for the hardware information, please provide the 'Oemsetup.inf' file. And you will find the Compad-32 has been installed in the PCMCIA device. 3, Now if you check the com port in the system manager, you will find the two com port in the Compad-32/85 have been installed. One thing we would like to highlight is since there are two firmware version for Compad-32/85, the checksum value in 'Oemsetup.inf' are different. We will attach both of them with this mail, if one of them can not work please try another one. Please also refer to the 'FAQ993A04' for more information.
