How to change the definition of SF1 to SF10 on AWS-842? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
The keys 'SF1' ~'SF10' on AWS-842TB are programmable, and that are reserved for user to define. Attached file 'Read.me' is the introduction file about how to define the SF keys. And also the program file 'sfed842.com' for your reference. And all the definition will be stored in a text file names 'Ex842.txt'.
Use a bootable diskette to boot to MS-DOS without load any program into memory. It's recommended to press "F5" key while "Starting MS-DOS 6.22....." appear to bypass "Autoexec.bat" and "Config.sys". Then, type following message to reload the data into the controller.
A:\>sfed842 ex842.txt
Follow the hint to save the keypad define data into the controller. Please notice that if you don't see the "KBT ID : xxxxxxxxxxx" that means this controller is not a good one.
