How to solve the VisiDAQ RUNTIME version Y2K problem with HISTORICAL TREND function? | |||

Solution:
According to our test, under the following condition, VisiDAQ/GeniDAQ will encounter a Y2K issue: Using historical trend with GeniDAQ/VisiDAQ Runtime program (GWRUN.EXE).
The Y2K problem is experienced in the attachment file Y2KTEST.GNI. To reproduce the problem, please do the following:
1. Set the system date to 12/31/99.
2. Set the system time to 23:55:00.
3. Open the strategy in Genie/VisiDAQ runtime environment and click on Start.
4. Wait for 01/01/00 00:01:00. Once it will happened, go to the HIST1 display object and click on '|<' trying to get the data from 12/31/99. At this point, illegal operation in GWRUN will be made and GWRUN will crashed.
This problem have solved in Genie/VisiDAQ Builder, but the runtime version failed.
