How to write data to a datablock in ADAM OPC Server? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
User can send any outstanding writes to the process hardware by enabling block writes in one or more datablocks. Once you enable this feature, you can enter the following I/O address into a Digital Output block.
I/O address syntax: !SEND:DATABLOCK
Where DATABLOCK is the name of the datablock you want write to. Specifying a channel or device name does not write out any data.
When any value is written to the Digital Output block, it sends a command to the specified datablock and instructs the driver to send the writes to the process hardware.
Analog Output blocks are not supported.
