Solution:

If the driver is not transmitting messages --- 1. Make sure the driver starts by examining the green arrow in the AOA I/O Driver Power Tool; it should be highlighted. 2. Examine the channel's Primary Port property. It should be set to the port name that the driver uses. 3. Make sure the cable is plugged in. 4. For serial drivers, you can use a breakout box to determine which lines are high (RTS, CTS, DSR, or DTS) and if they match your channel settings. Examine your cabling to ensure it is wired correctly.
