How to do if the driver communicates to some but not all the datablocks for a device in ADAM OPC?
Solution:
If you are receiving error numbers in the statistics section of the AOA I/O Driver Power Tool for the datablocks that are not working. The most common error for datablocks is requesting memory locations that are not configured in the hardware. 1. Look up the error number in the table Error Codes. These errors are returned from the hardware. 2. If the error number is not listed in the table, correct your hardware protocol manuals. They usually list the error number and a description of the problem. If you are not receiving error numbers in the statistics section Refer to Access Time Versus Scan Time to ensure the datablock's access time is set correctly.
