Why the message rate is slow of ADAM OPC Server? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
If you have a slow message rate
1. Examine the Port Sharing property for the channel. If the property is enabled, the message rate decreases because the driver opens and closes the port for each message.
2. Examine your devices for the wrong station addresses. If the driver is sending messages to devices that are offline or do not exist, the driver performs a series of timeouts and retries causing a slow message rate. If you plan to have a device offline for a period of time, disable the device in your driver configuration until it is back online.
