Is it possible to work with ADAM-5510 and ADAM-5080. Must I update the firmware of ADAM-5510?
Solution:
You don't need to update the firmware of ADAM-5510. All you need is using the COMMAND set for ADAM-5080 to access ADAM-5080. ADAM-5080 don't have firmware. Only ADAM-5000/485 has the firmware. The attached files "*.IMG" just for you to update the ADAM-5000/485 firmware. The file "5080manu.pdf" is the User's Manual of ADAM-5080. The file "Ground.doc" has some description about GROUNDING and SHIELDING for ADAM modules.
