Solution:
You can connected all the V- of 8 channels together to achieve you goal, but, be sure that the voltage between any two pins must not exceed +/- 15V. Otherwise, the multiplexer inside the ADAM-5017 will damage. Besides, the 'total ground' signal CAN NOT connect with the POWER MODULE of ADAM-5000/485.
