Solution:
We have tested the PCL-746+ to connect the modem. And found that we can easily connect to the internet through the RS-232 port of PCL-746+ without a problem.
We think if the PCL-746+ is well installed in the system. It will be no problem to use it as com1&2, no matter you are connecting it to modem or other RS-232 devices.
