There we have two ways to solve this request, one is turn off the tube of the LCD via the CN12 Pin 40. Another method is using the program to shutdown the output from the VGA chip. Below is the detail information. Regarding LCD ON/OFF function, our onboard interface can support the inverter to ON/OFF panel . Please refer to the pin assignment of CN12 pin 40. The function can run also in Windows 95/98/NT sleep mode. So you can have sleep mode function under Window by program to ON/OFF the panel. Or you can have another method by disabling Flat panel display from BIOS setup. If you want to ON/OFF Flat panel display on Windws 95/98 system, maybe you can try writting program to change to code as below Intex: 3D4 H -->50 Data: 3D5 H -->0 :off ( 1: on ) AS for the software for Backlight control on PCM-5820, please refer to Case No. :C.
