How to install ADAM driver under PCLS-AFX? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
There are 4 cases to install ADAM driver for PCLS-AFX:
Case1: PCLS-AFX with released version
When you complete the installation of PCLS-AFX, the driver has installed already.
Case2: PCLS-AFX with beta version
This version doesn't include ADAM driver, you should copy some relative files into certain directories respectively by yourself (no install program or package to do that)
Case3: Intellution FIX
We have a special package of ADAM driver for Intellution FIX, you have to insert FIX CD-Disk into your CD-ROM and pretend to install FIX. During the re-installation, you can see a pop-up window to ask you to select the options you want to do, one of them is I/O driver, please enable this item and remember to key in the correct path about your ADAM driver in the next steps.
Case4: Intellution FIX with Intellution P31 driver (under Winsetup directory on Paradym-31 beta 2 version CD-Disk)
It is the same with Case3, the difference is that this version includes P31 driver. When you run this version of FIX, P31 driver would be enabled automatically. However, P31 driver needs the correct path of FLK, if you use the default, you'll find out something wrong during executing FIX.
First, if you don't install Paradym-31, you should remove WIZSTK.DLL from FIX.INI, otherwise WIZSTK.DLL can't be loaded and you can't use FIX any more. Please follow the below path to remove or remark WIZSTK :
\FIX32\LOCAL\FIX.INI ==> [DMACS} ==> remark "DLL=WIZSTK.DLL"
If you install P-31, then you'll find out the error message about FLK is appeared, that means the path of FLK is wrong, please execute P-31 and select "Options" under menu bar, then click "Fastlink config..." to change the path (any existed FLK file). You also can modify the content of Fastlink.ini under \paradym\ to improve it.
