How to install COMpad-32/85 under Windows NT? | |||

Solution:
Please follow the below steps to complete the installation:
Step1: Please follow the below hints to enable PCMCIA driver under Windows NT
[Start] => [Settings] => [Control Panel] => [Devices] => search "PCMCIA" from the list => press [Start] button
Step2: Please check the file serial.sys ( \winnt\system32\driver\serial.sys 1997/5/8 or 5/12 ) does come from Windows NT with SP3 or not. If not, please download the first attached file to replace the old one.
Step3: Refer to attached file "746setup.zip" to finish the settings about adding ports, correcting I/O configuration and modifying registry for sharing interrupt.
Note
1. Please use DOS utility of ComPad-32/85 to set or check I/O address and IRQ settings first.
2. The second attached file includes step-by-step installation and pictures, just for your reference.
