Solution:

Actually, it is impossible to send data back automatically for ADAM series because we adopt RS-485 network structure. RS-485 just supports half duplex and there is no arbiter to distinguish the priority, if all slave devices send data back at the same time, there must be many conflicts on communication. That is why we use the way of one-command/one-response to avoid such conflict. In fact, you can see it on certain RS-232/422 devices because of full duplex. However, RS-232/422 just supports point to point structure, it will limit the development of data acquisition and control application. However, we can use ADAM-4500 or ADAM-5510 to improve this situation. Due to the capability of programming, ADAM-4500 or ADAM-5510 can poll ADAM modules to get new data and send it back to the Host PC automatically. For Host PC, it is just like to receive a series of data from ADAM modules without any polling.
