How to install IR ( Infrared ) under Win95/98 | |||

Solution:
Enable IR function:
Step1: Enter BIOS before O.S. booting
Step2: Select "INTEGRATED PERIPHERALS"
Step3: Change IR settings as follows ( for example )
IR Address Select => 2F8H
IR Mode => HP SIR
IR IRQ Select => IRQ3
IR Duplex Mode => Full
Step4: Save and reboot
Win95 User:
Installation Instructions:
There is no special driver for IR under Win95, IR would be regarded as a COM
Port for use after booting, all actions about IR is controlled by BIOS.
Win98 User:
Installation Instructions:
Win98 supports IR driver, but I can't use it to communicate with other device
via hyperterminal.
