Dos always reports "Track 0 bad" whenever I format the SSD, what's the reason for it? | |||

Solution:
Whenever DOS format the diskette, it will try to built a File Allocation Table (FAT) on the diskette. If DOS can not built FAT successfully, it will report "Track o bad" to the user. In SSD, track 0 is located on the first memory device of SSD. If the first device is bad, DOS will not able to access it. Please replace the memory device with a new one. If you are using flash chips, they may be protected. Please disable the
protection of flash and try again. The problem also exist when the EMM386 or QEMM didn't exclude the memory segment which be used by SSD. or installed memory chipset is different with jumper setup. Sometimes, the problem is resulted from bad connection between chips and sockets or bad soldering of sockets. The solution is inserting memory chips several times or replaceing sockets with new sockets. The bad soldering problem can be sloved by resoldering.
