Find character corruption of an IPC-610A with a PCA-6114 rev A1. PCA-6159L-BARE, and a Trident 8900D
Solution:
After Checking with our R&D engineer, we found this problem is caused by incompatibility between Intel TX chipset and ISA add-on cards. Due to the limitation of TX chipset, the signal level on ISA bus will be up to 3.3V only. However, the ISA card may be TTL compatible and it may need the signal level higher than 3V. However, the signal level may change if noise appears on ISA bus. Thus, noise will destroy ISA signal and ISA add-on card can not work correctly. As we know, this is a limitation on TX chipset so we have no solution to solve it now. We suggest you using PCI display card instead of ISA card to avoid this limitation.
