Solution:
I. The Feature of Parallel port
The parallel port is used to connect the cards(CN19) to a printer. You can
change the mode(ECP/EPP/SPP) of it in BIOS setup.Choose "onboard parallel mode"
from "Integrated Peripherals" in CMOS setup.There are four kinds of setting:
ECP/EPP; SPP; EPP/SPP; ECP in this item.
The parallel port is default as LPT1 and can be disable or changed to LPT2 or
LPT3 in CMOS setup.And the interrupt is default as IRQ7. Choose "onboard
parallel port" from "Integrated Peripherals" in CMOS setup.There are three
kinds of setting: 378/IRQ7; 278/IRQ5; 3BC/IRQ7 in this item.
The default setting shows as below:
CN19 is a 26-pin flat cable connector,you will need an adapter cable if you use
a traditional DB-25 connector.The adapter cable has a 26-pin connector on one
end and a DB-25 connector on the other.
