How to display Full Screen when the resolution setting is smaller than the LCD default? | |||

Solution:
For example:
If the LCD is 800x600 TFT LCD, but I want the LCD to display Full Srceen when I
set the resolution to 640x480 in Windows 95.
Procedure:
1. On-line change and test FLAT PANEL Registers(FR) with chipsvga.exe under
Windows.
FR40 Horizontal Compensation Register
change from 1FH -> 21H
FR48 Vertical Compensation Register
change from 13H -> 17H
Notice: The Register number and value may be different for each C&T chips.
2. Modify VGA BIOS with BIOS Modification Program (e.g. BMP555.EXE)
2. Combine new VGA BIOS into your BIOS with CBROM.EXE
3. Update BIOS with AWDFLASH.EXE
4. Install C&T driver for your OS
5. Reboot PC
Notice: You don't need to change panel type in your BIOS panel selection item.
