Solution:
The PCA-6154 is sensitive to the position of IPC slots. If you cannot read FDD
please try put it near power supply.

Customer's test result
****************************************************
It seams that everything's works correctly only if I install the cpu card in
one of the tree slots near the power supply.
Here below I describe the test and that I made and how:
I install a PCA 6154 in the first slot near PS with the configuration below:
IPC 615 bakplane PCA 6115 A1.01with PS 300 ( with tow resistor 5 pin label
SMTA 472G on the bakplane)
PCA 6154 REV A2-02-01
BIOS rev 1.11 dated 03/13/98
MICRO 166 MHz INTEL P54 VCC 3,4
SIMM 32Mbyte ( 2 SIMM 16 MB EDO brand IBM )
FDD 1.44 3",5 Mitsumi
HDD 1.2 Gb Brand Fujitsu Mod. M1636TAU
and start testing the board with O.S. MS-DOS 6.22 USA from a booting diskette
in drive A: ,
with setup bios with SETUP DEFAULT , in this situation it works corretly , if
i move the PCA 6154 over the therd slot the sistem will not boot from floppy
and make the board be unstable on evry interfaces even on the hard disk.
So I install the board on the third slot and started the installation of WinNT
4.0 SP1 , and everything works correctly only in this slots near the PS. If I
change same parameters on the setup like "ULTRA DMA " the sistem becomes
instable.
Then I configured the system for my application ,
PCL 745 B COM3 I/O 3E8 IRQ 7 and COM4 I/O 2E8
PCL 745 B COM5 I/O 200 IRQ 10 and COM6 I/O 210 IRQ 15
C218 PLUS IRQ 5 memory D8000
For this configuration I had to change the setup PnP/PCI CONFIGURATION LIKE
BELOW
IRQ 11 AND IRQ 14 IN PCI/ISA PnP and all the ather in LEGACY ISA.
The test that I'm duing is seems to wok correctly for know in WINNT .
I have the same kind of configuration for IPC 622 and I had the same problem
with the floppy and the instability of the board if I didn't use the tow
resis
