How to change the resolution for Windows CE? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
ADVANTECH Windows CE solution features a text file to change the resolution.
You can edit the CEPC.INI and reboot to change the resolution.
Example:
mode=2
"mode=n", n is a numeric form 0 to 5, its meanings are:
(0) 320x200@256
(1) 480x240@256
(2) 640x480@256
(3) 800x600@256
(4) 1024x768@256
(5) 240x320@256
As the LCD, it depends on the VGA chip and VGA BIOS. If the on-board VGA chip
and VGA BIOS support the LCD, then you only have to modify the CEPC.INI to the
right resolution.
For example, C&T 65550 support upto 800x600 TFT LCD. To support different LCD,
you may have to change the VGA BIOS or BIOS CMOS setting for the right "Panel
Type". If the jumpers, VGA BIOS and other settings for the LCD is good, then
you can try it on DOS/95 or other OS first.
After that you only have to change the CEPC.INI mode to 3 for your 800x600 TFT
LCD. (You may boot from DOS and use EDIT or other tools to edit the CEPC.INI
text file.)
