Regarding onboard two LANs of MIC-3369/MIC-3358 couldn't work well under Solaris 8 issue, it seems Solaris8's ACPI support may have problems with our system's ACPI tables, since Solaris 9 has no such issue. The following steps are our suggestions: 1. Disable ACPI function on BIOS settings. 2. Install Solaris 8. 3. Install Solaris 8 patch file. (Go to the http://sunsolve.sun.com/pub-cgi/show.pl?target=patches/patch-access for patch download.) 4. Install LAN driver for Solaris.
