[Description]: I would like to use ADAM5000/TCP with Operating System LINUX. Are there drivers for linux available yet? If no, how could it be done? [Solutions]: Currently Advantech don’t build drivers for Linux system and there will be no schedule in short time. However, there are also methods that customer can control the ADAM-5000/TCP; 6000 series. Customer can use UDP to send ASCII command to get data or send commands. The port of UDP is 1025. Or customer can communicate with ADAM-5000/TCP; 6000 series through Socket with Modbus protocol. Because the protocol is standard Modbus TCP protocol, there should be no problem for the control and communication.
