Description: Advantech’s EDG configure Utility only can find modules connected to an Ethernet port. If a customer’s PC has a built in Network connector and one extra Network card, so that customer has two branches of the Network. Our Utility only runs on an Ethernet port. Solution: It is a known issue for UDP broadcast operation. Our EDG configuration Utility is using UDP broadcast to scan our all EDG modules. In Windows, the UDP protocol will use one LAN port if there are two LAN ports. Which one UDP will select? It will be according to their priority. As for which is high priority. This is the determination of Windows. Our Utility can NOT do it.
