Solution:
1, Set the ID of 5511 as NOT zero and boot the ADAM-5511 then it will execute the user’s program automatically 2, Wait around 7 sec and you can see the LED become: PWR: ‘on’; RUN: ‘blinking’;COMM: ‘off’; BATT: ‘off’ 3, Use ADAM-4K5K Utility V1.3 to read ADAM-5511 At this time ADAM-5511 can be accessed through COM1 and COM2 When we use COM2 1, Make sure your com port is RS-485 mode or you are using ADAM-4520 as converter. 2, Check the setting of ADAM-4520, and make sure the SW1 is set as 11 bits (the default setting is 10 bits) and the baud-rate is correct. 3, Boot ADAM-5511 and wait until the LEDs are stable

If we want to use COM1 1, Turn the SW6 to ‘on’ 2, Use null modem cable connect PC to COM1 3, Make sure the baud-rate is correct 4, Boot ADAM-5511 and wait until the LEDs are stable and you can find the 5511 with its windows utility

How to run simu5000.exe and access with ADAM-4000/5000 utility?
Solution:
1, Set all dip-switch to off and boot the ADAM-5511 then it will execute simu5000.exe automatically 2, Wait around 7 sec and you can see the LED become only the COMM is ‘on’. That means ready. 3, Connect PC to the program port of 5511 with direct through cable. 4, Use the ADAM-4000/5000 utility V1.3 and set baud-rate as 9600 N-8-1. Then you can configure the modules with the ADAM-4000/5000 utility
