NAS HowTo - change the DOM with out losing all the system setting of a running NAS-2120 | |||

Solution:
NAS system configuration is stored in HDD(s). It's recommended to replace the DOM directly. Or please use GHOST utility to re-flash the embedded firmware into the DOM (Disk On Module). When NAS boots up after that, it will use configuration in HDD(s) as startup configuration.
And kindly mind the only crititcal issue! Please never use v1.55 GHOST image for firmware re-flash. There is a known bug for this version. Re-flashing this version will erase everything on the NAS 2120.
