Question ======= CN6 USB cable connection shares the same resources with #0 and #1 USB ports on I/O bracket of PCA-6184. Solution ======== 1. Based on chipset specification, PCA-6184 only has max. 4 USB ports. From chipset, there are USBP0, USBP1, USBP2 and USBP3 resources. 2. In order to face different customers' applications, Advantech designed PCA-6184 with CN6 and CN27 for USB connections. CN6 is for USB cable 1700100170 connection with USBP0 and USBP1 resources. CN27 contains USBP0, USBP1, USBP2 USBP3 resources for ports #1, #2, #3 and #4 on the daughter board for I/O bracket connection. 3. Please do not use CN6 connection together with USB #0 and #1 ports on the 2nd layer daughter board on PCA-6184E2 and PCA-USB-00A1.
