Why does the power consumption listed on the label of the SE305-T not match the datasheet? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
2W power consumption is under full load with 12VDC input and stable status. Therefore, the current consumption 0.167A is correct. However, for safety, they suggest more sufficient current to deal with inrush current once you power on SE-305T. In addition, some customers will provide a set power supply to use with multiple switches, therefore, we state current is 1.5A on the label. For real application, especially in extremely low temperatures, like -40℃, this will help a lot.
