What would cause the VESP or VESR units to lock up? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
One Customer was having Lockup issues with a VESP211-232. The unit would lock up and it could not be found on the network, and would only recover after a power cycle. They found that their facility was running an Ethernet Scan on the Week ends and that the internal port 7000 was found to be an At Risk port by the Scan software Qualys Vulnerability Scan Software. The port 7000 being considered vulnerable, was locking up the device. When the customer omitted the VESP211-232 from the scan, then there were no more lock ups.
