I am trying to use the AMC, but I am receiving an error " Unable To Load Existing Database" | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
We have seen this issue before and it may be corrected by one of the following:
1 - Please check to see if your laptop has both IPV4 and IPV6 enabled. Unchecking the IPV6 option may resolve the error. Under Windows 7 please go to the control panel and click the Network and Sharing Center. Select Change Adapter Settings. Double click on the Local Area Connection and click properties and uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6).
2- Please check to see that you have a connection either wireless or wired. If you go to the command prompt of your PC and type ipconfig and get a response Media Disconnected that would indicate that there is no live connection. You can try replacing the ethernet cable.
3- The database has become corrupt in this situation you will want to click through the problem (you should still be able to get into the AMC), then you should save the session. This should rebuild the database and everything should be good.
