Can a customer program the 4 Blue arrow buttons on the front of the PLR to perform a function? | |||

Solution:
Yes this can be done. Each button has a label, Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4. So in the ladder logic program if you put Z1 input to output 1. Every time you hit that arrow output 1 will give you a momentary contact closure. You must go into the SG2 software and click on Operation--Module System Setup, under Other Setting check the box that says Z Set and click Set. The 4 blue arrow buttons now can be used as momentary contact closure and no longer will function as directional keys.
