Solution:
If you assign a static IP address to the MESR and you place the unit on a different network the software will not find it. You have to hold the Mode button for more than 10 seconds to put the unit in default mode and wait about 30-45 seconds and search with the software again. The MESR can not be on a different subnet mask or the software will be unable to find it.
