Solution:
When the card is plugged in the motherboard provides resources that can not be modified. The express card technology does not allow for the resources to be modified. If the Application software must see standard addresses 0278 or 0378, then this card will not work. The only option is to have the customer use a laptop with a built in Parallel port, or a standard PCMCIA card SPP-100.
