Solution:

If the ESP90x/ESR90x unit is located on the same subnet as the PC with the Vlinx Software, then the software should find the unit. Even if the IP address is using a different address scheme, because the broadcast search does a search for the MAC address, and not the IP address. If you get no response from the search, then check the following: Check the cable connections, make sure there is a good link LED. Disable any built in Firewalls that may be in place. Windows has default Firewalls in the control panel that can be turned off. Verify that the Ready LED on the VLinx box is a slow Blink.
