What is the frequency range for the 900Mhz and 2.4GHz radios? And can you adjust them?
Solution:
The 2.4 GHz devices allow you to choose 7 different channels for hopping. The frequency ranges are 2410 Mhz - 2470 Mhz and 5000 KHz frequency spacing. The 900Mhz devices has 10 different channels. The frequency ranges are 902 Mhz - 928 Mhz and 350 KHz frequency spacing. They use a frequency hopping system which transmits on 25 individual frequencies in a specific hopping pattern. (50 for the 900 Mhz for 1W transmission) The device uses as little of the available RF spectrum as possible to minimize susceptibility to interference for other RF systems or for other Zlinx radios in the area. Each channel reuses the same 25 or 50 frequencies but navigates through them in a different pattern to minimize the interference between the channels. Data on each channel is encoded differently so it is impossible for a radio modem configured for channel 1 to receive data transmitted on channel 2 but there may be interference between two transmissions You can not adjust the frequency ranges shown above.
