What is the difference between the MDI and MDI-X Ports on the EMD-100FSx? | |||
---|---|---|---|
Solution:
On the Media Converters the difference between the MDI port and the MDI-X port is that one is a crossover port built in and the other is a straight through port. The MDI port is used when hooking up to a Hub or Switch. The MDI-X is used with a NIC on a computer.
