Solution:
Yes, if you are not going to use Virtual Com ports, If you are using Direct IP mode or Data Tunneling (paired mode) then you can configure the units from the web browser. Just type in the IP address into your web browser. You can also use console mode by connecting to Port 1 on the unit with a cross over serial cable and using Hyperterminal.
