Yes. Any number of PCs can have Virtual Com ports created for the same ESP/ESR module. When using Virtual Com ports, only one PC can open a connection to the port at a time. If two try to access the port at the same time, the second trying to open the VCOM will get a message that it cannot Open Com port. Very similar to if two applications on the same PC tried to open the same com port. Once the first person disconnects , then another person can connect. If a person has the Vlinx Manager open, they can do a search and see if there is a current connection made to that port by looking at the Connection Status field.
