Solution:

Using a terminal emulation program login into your unit. These instructions are based on Tera Term but other programs should be similar. auth dpac dpac - (you should receive an OK) update xmodem - (you should see a capital C appearing, immediately go to the transfer file from tera term menu and select Xmodem and browse to the location you saved the image to. This may take several minutes depending on the baud rate.) Please note**** Xmodem protocol firmware update can only be used over a serial port connection. FTP can be used to update firmware over a ethernet connection.
