Solution:
The purpose of this configuration is to setup and expand a VLAN with a defined ID to span communication over multiple switches. In the example below Network 1, 2, and 3 will communicate to each other across the Trunk link. The Trunk Link passes all 3 networks (VLAN ID’s) over the single Ethernet port between the two switches. The ESR500 Series does not include specific configuration options for a Trunk Access Port, so this requires including the intended Trunk port in all VLAN's. EIR500 Series Switch Configuration:
