Can I use Linux with the Mini or Inline or Din Rail ULINX USB to serial converters?
Solution:
All B&B USB to serial converters that use the FTDI USB chip should work with Linux 2.6.9 or greater but is not actively supported. You need to be an advanced user. You have to go to FTDI's website and download the MPROG software and Linux driver for the chipset below. FT232RL (made by FTDI) (Listed as the FT232R on the FTDI website) http://www.ftdichip.com/FTDrivers.htm We do not support downloading or installing the software and drivers from the FTDI website.
