Solution:
We have a generic Modbus Test Software that has a 30 day trial download option. Download the Modscan32 software, and it can be set up to talk Modbus TCP to talk through our converts to Modbus RTU devices. Modscan32 can also be set up to talk Modbus RTU to talk to Modbus/TCP devices. In Modscan you can specify the function code that you wish to use to poll the device, and you can specify the Modbus registers that you wish to read.The trial download version of Modscan32 will run for a short time, before it will have to be restarted.Modscan32 can be purchased also.
