Setup: Use a Current Loop to 232 Converter similar to theB&B 232CL9R to receive the transmitted signal from the DUT Use a 100 Ohm load across the two terminal blockconnections on the DUT. The Current loop converter should be connected in parallelwith the load resistor. The “+” terminalof the DUT Current Loop port should go to the Receive “+” on the converter andthe “-“ terminal of the DUT CurrentLoop port should go to the Receive “-“on the converter. Test: Using a PC, transmit “H”s out of the Current loop portof the DUT at a data rate of 9600bps Verify you receive “H”s on the Current Loop converter Verify you receive “H”s on the Current Loop port ofthe DUT. Fail the device if either of these two conditions arenot met. Perform this test on both Current Loop ports of theDUT.
